Halloween

We look forward to Halloween every year. I think besides Christmas, it's Lucas' favorite holiday. We decided to dress up as a family this Halloween, so we decided to do Cops and Robbers. Lucas, me and Aideen were Robbers and Gavin, Tyrone, Niamh and Isla were Cops. The costumes turned out great, they were a hit with everyone. We also, hosted a Halloween Party and began the first annual Lip Sync Battle. We had about 40+ friends and family here. We had yummy food and about 10 people participated in the Lip Sync Battle. It was such a fun night. The kids went trick or treating around the neighborhood and just played with their cousins and friends and we all just hung out and had a great time.

Niamh plays Soccer

Lucas got to coach Niamh's first year of Soccer. He put together a team with several kids in our ward at church. It was a great season and it was a great experience for Niamh for her first time playing soccer. The team was Thunder. They probably lost more games than won them, but they had fun. Lucas was a great coach. He motivated the kids and was really patient and fun with them. Niamh can't wait to play soccer next season.

Niamh is 6 years old

Niamh got to have a friend party this year for her birthday. We rented a Princess bounce house and she invited 8 of her close friends. They had pizza and juice and I had a purse cake made for Niamh. There was lots of squeeling going on with all the girls and they had so much fun jumping in the bounce house and chasing Niamh's older brothers. They wanted Gavin and Tyrone to be their princes. The boys were mortified. I think Niamh had a blast. We woke her up on her actual birthday, singing Happy Birthday and she opened her presents. She was so excited to get a Barbie Dream House. We had family over for cake and icecream later on and continued to celebrate Niamh. Niamh gets so excited about things and she is so full of life all the time. She's my little popcorn, always jumping and hopping around. She is so smart. Her teacher told me she is so ready for First Grade and she is always keeping busy. She learns so quickly and she helps others around her. she is a budding artist and loves to draw all day long. We love our curly haired, sassy, Niamhy-noo.

Aideen at 6 months

Aideen turned 6 months on the 14th. This month, she discovered solid foods. She loves her baby cereal for breakfast and she loves trying new foods for lunch and dinner. Her favorites are sweet potato and strawberry banana. She has a great appetite. This month Aideen also sat up for the first time and got her first tooth. She's pretty pleased with herself. She is such a sweet, content little girl and she loves to just observe the goings on around her. I can't believe she is a 1/2 a year old already. We love our lil puddin.

Idaho Trip

We took a little trip up to Twin Falls in October for my sister Trudi's baby Rocco's blessing. It was so awesome to finally meet the little man. What a sweetie! We went for the weekend and we got to do lots of fun things. My mam's birthday was over the weekend, so we all went to a buffet and surprised her with a cake and presents. She was thrilled. The baby blessing was Sunday. What a special day it was. Tyler gave Rocco a beautiful blessing. Afterwards, we went back to Trudi's house and stuffed our faces with delicious food. After dinner we went for a walk by Perrine Bridge, what a beautiful view they have there. We are always sad to say goodbye to Trudi and Tyler, Noah, Layla and Rocco, but we love going to visit too.
