Mother's Day
This year's Mother's Day was fabulous. Lucas and the kids made me a yummy breakfast in bed. I got some great gift cards and a beautiful bouquet of Pink Roses. Spoiled! Then we headed to Alamo to spend the day with my mam. We decided to attend her ward with her. My sister Kim and her family decided to surprise my mam at church and showed up right as it was about to start. It was awesome seeing the excitement and joy on my mam's face. After church, we ate Honey Lime Enchiladas, which are the best, even if it is my recipie. Then we had some homemade Butterfinger icecream and an amazing chocolate layer peanut butter cookie thing that Kim brought. We ate way too much, as usual. The kids had fun playing outside and we just spent time together and relaxed. It was the perfect Mother's Day.

Our Little Ballerina
Niamh started a ballerina class at Fairytales & Tutus a few weeks ago. Its a really good dance class. They learn ballerina techniques and every week they read a princess story and afterward they dress up as that princess and act out the story through dance using ballet steps. Niamh absolutely loves it. She looks forward to her class every week and she loves her teacher Miss Juliet and her new little friends. This is Niamh's first time doing any type of dance and she is just a natural. She loves to show us all the steps and she even tries to stand en pointe. We are proud of our little ballerina.

Soccer Stars
Gavin and Tyrone were on "The Rebel's" soccer team this season. They had a great time and really learned a lot and improved greatly on their soccer skills. Tyrone found his strength as goalie and Gavin is a great runner and defender. They had a great coach and great kids on their team. Their overall record was 3-wins, 4-losses and 1-tie.

Isla @ 10 months
This past month flew by and I haven't updated the blog much. Isla just turned 11 months and I only just realized that I didn't do a 10 month update, so here goes. Isla is such a busy little bee. She is so curious and fast. Now that she has found a way to get around, she loves exploring. She loves to try to climb up the stairs before we can catch her and put the gate up. She loves all kind of food. She is my best eater so far. She will try anything. Her newest foods are Ruby Red Grapefruit and Chicken Nuggets. She loves Strawberries. She is sleeping all the way through the night.....FINALLY! She has even starting drinking whole milk. I think its also safe to say we can by-pass the bottle and go straight to the sippy cup. She is such a big girl. She loves to have her brothers chase her on their hands and knees and she squeels with delight as she crawls away from them. She can stand by herself for a while and she loves to walk if you hold both her hands. We are getting excited for her first birthday. I cannot believe how fast this year went with Isla. She is so smart and just wants to grow up so she can play with her big sister. Why do they have to grow up so fast :(
