Valley of Fire
We went to Valley of Fire one Saturday with our friends, the Hendersons. I had never been before, neither had any of the kids. It was so breathtakingly beautiful out there. Seeing how the rock changes for grey and brown to all different kinds of red. It was so cool to finally get to see it. We did a small hike and let the kids climb and explore. We went and saw where an Indian Outlaw named Mouse is supposed to have lived for many years, called Mouse's Tank. We also saw lots of Petroglyphs on the rocks. What a majestic place. We can't wait to go back and explore more.

Mount Charleston
We went up to Mount Charleston as soon as the first snow fell this month. We decided to do a small hike called Robbers Roost. It was pretty easy and the kids loved it. There wasn't a ton of snow but the kids made the most of it. We need to go up there more, considering we live right next to it.

Thanksgiving
We spent Thanksgiving this year with Lucas' family. We went over early to Lucas' brother Jason's house and all the boys got together and played a Turkey bowl. Then we went to Lucas' mom's house and had Thanksgiving dinner. It was so delicious. Everyone brought food and contributed to the feast. We went back to Jason's house for Pie and to hang out and watch TV. It was a lovely day. I am thankful for so much. Most of all I'm thankful for this amazing family I have. I love my husband and kids so much. They are my whole world. I am so grateful for our health and that we have a home and food and that we always have enough for our needs. I'm grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and his and Heavenly Father's love for me. I could go on and on, but I'm so blessed to have wonderful extended family who are always there for us too. Life is good.

Aideen at 7 months
Aideen at 7 months is very busy. She has started rolling to get to where she needs to go. She moves so fast across the floor. She loves this new found freedom. She has also discovered that she loves playing with balls. She picks them up and throws them down. She has 2 teeth now and loves little pieces of bread in between her meals. She is still a great eater and loves everything we give her to eat so far. She still isn't sleeping through the night but that's ok because I don't mind the middle of the night cuddles. I know she won't always be my lil puddin. We are so blessed to have Aideen in our home, she is such a joy to have.

Family Pictures
We had a really sweet lady offer to take family pictures for us because we are a police officer family and she wanted to thank Lucas for serving the community. We went to Town Square and the shoot took less than 20 minutes, and the kids all cooperated which was a bonus. I'm so happy with how they turned out.
