Lucas took the boys to Michigan at the end of September for cousin Henry's baptism. Lucas' two brothers each took one of their boys who were around Henry's age also. They flew into Detroit and spent some time there. They were able to get last minute tickets to a Detroit Tiger's baseball game. It happened to be Irish night, so they had bagpipers and an Irish theme going. They stayed in Lansing with Lucas' sister Amanda and her family. Henry got baptized on Saturday. It was a special day. The boys were able to sight see and go to a farm and have apple cider donuts and enjoyed a hay ride. They had a great time with family. It was also a special time because Lucas' mom got to be with all her kid together.

Gavin is 10 years old
Gavin turned 10 years old on September 19. I can't believe how grown up and mature Gavin has become. He is almost as tall as me. We started the morning with our tradition, singing Happy Birthday and opening presents. Gavin got lots of cool stuff. He loves lego, so we got him two big Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sets. When Gavin got home from school, we took him, Tyrone and 6 friends to see the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie. Then we came home and ate pizza and cupcakes. Then Gavin opened his presents from his friends and they had a little dance party. He had a great day. Gavin is such a great kid. He's smart and funny, he loves to put on voices and make everyone laugh. He's a good friend and always tries to do the right thing. We love him dearly.

Aideen at 5 months
Aideen is changing so much this month. She recognizes everyone in the family and is definitely a momma's girdl. She got her ears pierced this month and looks extra pretty now. She loves sleeping in mom and dad's bed and still wakes up a few times each night. We can't wait to see what a sweet girl Aideen continues to grow into.
