Aideen at 3 months

We took lots of pics of the lil puddin this month and I couldn't resist posting most of them. She has started recognizing all of us and the minute she makes eye contact with any of us, she instantly smiles and her face lights up. It's the sweetest thing. This girl is teething big time. She chews on anything she can get her hands on and is drooling like crazy. She refuses to sleep in her crib and is so content in mommy and daddy's bed. She takes up the whole middle and Lucas and I are perched on each of our sides. She's got more hair coming in and I detect maybe a little red in there. Lucas is happy about that. Aideen loves all her siblings. It's so nice to have older brother's who can come hold her, when I'm trying to get things done. She gets endless kisses all day from her sisters, who also love taking turns holding her. She loves bath time and the water puts her right to sleep almost immediately. She has also found her voice and likes to yell and squeel. We're loving this stage of Aideen's life and can't wait to see what fun things she'll continue to do next month.

Wood Reunion 2014

We had a reunion in Park City Utah, in honor of Grandpa Wood. He is 92 years old. It was so nice to be able to spend time up in that beautiful place. The kids had a blast with all their cousins and we were able to get to know lots of cousins we hadn't met before. They rented out a park for the day. There were two big bounce houses and lots of fun games planned for the kids. We had BBQ and lots of yummy food. All the grandkids got to sit and listen to Grandpa Wood share stories about his mission, his time in the Marine Corp and other words of wisdom. We are so blessed to have this wonderful Patriarch in our lives. While we were up in Park City, the kids and Lucas got to go down the famous Alpine slide. All the Abbotts stayed at the same Condo resort, so all the cousins had fun hanging out and swimming in the pool. What a wonderful time we had.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to one of the best men I know. This guy is such a loving, fun, dad. He wrestles with his boys, he cuddles and tickles his girls. He is cheerful and happy almost every day. He works so hard for us, so that we can have a good life. I hope my boys grow up to be the kind of man that Lucas is. I know the girls with pick husbands who will treat them well, because they have witnessed what a good man their dad is. I am so blessed to have made 5 kids with this guy. He is one of a kind. I love you Lucas!!

 

 

Aideen's Blessing

We blessed Aideen on June 1st 2014, in the Elkridge Ward at our church. Lucas gave a beautiful blessing. Aideen's dress was beautiful, with shamrocks embroidered all over it. We had lots of family in town from both sides, and really felt the love from all of them. We are so blessed to have this little angel, Aideen Catríona in our family.

Isla is 3

Isla's 3rd Birthday just happened to be the same weekend that we had Aideen's baby blessing. So, we had lots of family in town for these two special days for our girls. Isla was so excited for her birthday. I made her a princess cake, which she loved. We had all the family come over for a party and Isla got to open her gifts from the cousins. Her actual birthday was the next day, so we had her open her family gifts the next morning. She loved her princess tent that she got and her Minnie Mouse dress and heels. This girl is a little gem. She's always seemed older than she is. She grew up too fast in my mind and I miss my little baby. Isla is so sweet and loves to be cuddled. She loves to sing and from a very early age, she loved to dance. She hears a music beat and will start dancing around the room. She is a great big sister and loves Aideen. She is very helpful and loves to help me when I cook. We love our Isla Maeve.

Aideen at 2 months

This lil puddin showed her personality this month. She is a fiesty little mama. She knows what she wants and she loves being around this noisy bunch. When I try to put her in a quiet room to go to sleep, she won't sleep for long. She sleeps better in the mad chaos that is our house. She loves her swing. She has started smiling this month and it is the sweetest thing to see her eyes light up with a smile. We love our little girl.
